Apocalips

INT. DIM SPACE — NIGHT

A low, distant rumble. Air thick with a quiet electric tension.

CAMERA pushes slowly toward a couple standing close, almost motionless. Their attention rests entirely on each other — the soft gravity of shared breath, the subtle pull of presence.

CLOSE ON lips. A pause that feels suspended outside of time.

They embrace.

CAMERA begins a slow orbit around them. Background sounds bleed in — wind rising somewhere far away, indistinct voices, the faint shudder of something shifting beyond the frame.

They kiss. Unhurried.

As the orbit widens, glimpses of disorder appear at the edges: flickering lights, shadows moving too quickly, distant structures trembling. The soundscape deepens — sirens far off, a low metallic groan, the suggestion of a world losing its balance.

The couple remains steady at the center of the frame, untouched, absorbed, moving only in small gestures of closeness.

CAMERA pulls back further. Chaos spreads outward — motion blurring, light breaking, the horizon unstable. Their stillness becomes its own kind of shelter.

They separate just enough to look at one another.

A quiet understanding passes.

They turn.

HAND IN HAND, they walk forward, away from the noise, moving through the shifting light as the world continues to fracture behind them.

CAMERA holds as they recede into distance.

Sound softens to breath.

FADE OUT.
