Created as a Christmas gift for my son based on his listening history (a commitment to fully engage with his musical taste) the result is a shimmer of unreality, like a dream you can’t quite hold onto. The mixtape drifts through ambient textures, glitchy electronics, and introspective pop—each track a step toward something just out of reach. It’s music for wandering through imagined landscapes, where the path is uncertain, but the journey is its own reward. The end can only be found in a land that cannot be reached by foot.
