Every December, the same question returns: how to hold space for all the emotions Christmas carries without letting the season be drowned by one. This project began as a response—first to a practical request from my partner to bring a little more joy and sparkle to our holiday soundscape, and then to a deeper desire to trace the music that shaped my own relationship with the season for my children. Put this on while the snow hushes the world and the windows hold the light against the dark.
